A lot of factors have fueled my drive to make music, which has led me to be in and out of bands throughout the years.
How did I get into this?
The past
I remember there being wonderful music program at my elementary school, so my brothers and I decided to sign up. The two of them signed up for clarinet and flute while I signed up for trumpet. Unfortunately, I was denied entry into the program becase of my age. I was already in 6th grade and both of my brothers were only in 3rd and 4th grade. I guess they didn’t want to bother with a kid who was going to go to middle school the next year. Totally lame.
So, from then on I decided to teach myself piano. My mom purchased several learning books and I would also borrow additional lesson books from the library.

The present
Mrs. Brown’s Lovely Daughter had been on extended hiatus because all the other members of the band were moving on with their life. But I was still itching to relive the glory days. In 2013, I decided to see if I could find the magic again and tested out former members and new people. Eventually, I would get my a couple of my wife’s college friends to come play. They were all in previous bands, except for the drummer who had never played a note or beat in his life. And The Do Overs were born.
