by I’m organizing, with the help of a few others, the first meeting of the University Park Chapter of the Los Angeles WordPress Meetup Group.
It turns out that the majority of websites at USC (including all of the centrally controlled sites) use WordPress but nobody really knows each other or knows what the others are up to. So, in an effort to build a user group and community, I reached out to the Los Angeles WordPress Meetup Group.
Because of how organizers come and go, several of the LA WP chapters kind of vanished and the only ones that remained active were Long Beach and West LA. I figured that since Los Angeles and there isn’t a meetup group in the main city area that it would make the most sense to set up one up by USC.
So, if you’re in the LA area looking for a WordPress meetup group, come on by.
