“Speed of Mind”
Consider the largeness of space and time,
Also the smallness of points and seconds.
Often what’s trivial calls and beckons but
Always without reason and without rhyme.
The essence of whimsical condition
Is fully rendered, is fully tendered,
A summarily refined admonition.
Experience or not, is it a waste
When daily new discoveries are met?
And so I wonder why cognizance seems
To quicken, lavishing in so much haste.
I say, this mind, these thoughts should be reset,
For the vastness of space-time isn’t a dream
