Shaken and Stirred

#200 Shaken & Stirred

Testing out a new a new lay for my 200TH comic! I saw somewhere online that vertically read strips are the it thing these days because of mobile optimization blah blah blah. But the truth of the matter is that listening to Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” usually makes things better.

Shut Down

Cuz, you know, the government is run by pasty aliens in bondage outfits who are simply toying with our very existence.

Monday

“Monday” Zoned out on a Monday morning While the college station drones on, A deep grumbling from hastily Consumed buttered toast and coffee Bubbles to the surface—a burp.   Passionless bleats from zombiefied Speed demons wake me from my trance. Where am I? How did I get here? But then the engine’s lullaby Returns me […]

“Does Not Rock”

So, the computer is back from the shop and I can post comics again. I was planning to post all the comics in the road trip to Albuquerque story line in September since it’s my brother’s birthday month. Oh well, guess it’ll just bleed into October.
This one is about poop too.

“Inna’s Turn”

I don’t think I’m that critical of Inna’s driving. I’m still torn about the whole vehicle thing. On the one hand I feel free from the burden of that giant money sucking machine. I don’t really miss driving or the traffic. I can space out and enjoy the scenery. But on the other hand, I kind of miss getting to places quickly.

“Relativistic Mass…Transit”

I’m well into the third month of taking public transit everywhere, but unlike the comic, I don’t miss driving. Don’t get me wrong. I thoroughly enjoy the convenience my automobile provides, but like the comic, I feel free from the slavery of the industry.
Once I get my car fixed, I might continue with transit. I can’t wait to be that old lady who only drives to church and the grocery.

“The Accident, Part 4”

So Inna requested that I make another comic in The Accident story arc. She felt that there was no resolution. She’s probably right. Here is the comic that attempts to fill those shoes.
When I showed this to her this morning she said the same thing. I guess it’s tough to figure out the resolution if it hasn’t happened in real life. I guess you will all have to wait…or until I figure out something clever.
Also, it’s hard to be creative when you only have 4 images of yourself behind the wheel, and in each photo you’re making the same face. I’m such a terrible actor.
